Diva Soft Lite has a huge demand for Indian Bridal Salon services and it has been focusing on Indian beauty services for the past one year. Diva Soft Lite is focusing on expanding its branches in Victoria.

We have an immediate need/opening of Salon manager with Cosmetology Experience and Indian Beauty/Bridal makeup expert for a fulltime position in Victoria, BC. Join our team in a position that lets you grow with us!

Job Summary: Must have previous Managerial experience and previous Indian beautician knowledge. Various Indian Bridal and regular beauty services experience or Do Not Apply!

Main Duties will include but not limited:

• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of an establishment providing services such as, hairdressing, operate various laser machines. And, keep the salon clean.
• Respond to inquiries or complaints and resolve problems.
• Establish or implement policies and procedures for staff.
• Manage contracts for advertising or marketing strategies.
• Hire, train and supervise staff.
• Plan and control budget and inventory.

Skills Required:

• Specialised in: Indian Bridal makeover, Traditional soft makeup, Jewellery settings, and Bridal wear settings.
• Dupatta Draping style ideas-Drape around, Elbow style, One arm, High neck style, One side shoulder, Two sided, One shoulder one arm, Full open, Saree style, Pleated style, Gujarati style, Wrap around, Over the head, Cape style.
• Henna artist- Floral designs, bride groom design, the lace design, bangle style design, Arabic style, black henna, tattoo design.
• Waxing–Underarm waxing, Legs waxing, Arm waxing &Body waxing.
• Threading – Eyebrows threading, face threading, upper lips threading.
• Pedicure and Manicure – Basic pedicure and manicure, French pedicure and manicure, reverse pedicure and manicure, gel pedicure and manicure
• Hair styling – Party buns: single bun, double bun, semi bun. Braids styling: crown braid, simple braids, fish tail braid, cornrows, French braid.Bunches: flower bunches, bow bunches.
• Nails– Nail extension, Nail arts, Nail polishing, Nail cutting and shaping.
• Hair services – Shampoo, Conditioning, Curls, Blow dry, Haircut, Hair colouring, Highlights.
• Languages- Must be able to communicate in Punjabi and Hindi.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Post Graduate Diploma required.
• Business Administration Studies is a plus.
• 3 years+ experience inIndian beautician services.
• Experience in Indian bridal makeup and regular bridal beauty services.
• Intermediate Computer skills.
• Experience in Customer Service.
• Other beautician course certificate is an asset.
