Rapid Improvement / Kaizen Event for IT & Manufacturing

A Rapid Improvement Event is also known as a Kaizen Event. In practice a Rapid Improvement Event generally spans from 1 to 5 days and involves key process participants focusing on solving a narrowly scoped process improvement opportunity.
A Rapid Improvement(KAIZEN) Event is a team activity aimed at rapid implementation of Lean methods to eliminate production waste in particular areas of a process.
Duration: 18 to 30 hrs – Onsite with Offline data analysis and interviews or survey

Charge to Client: per individual $1,200; per Corporate (group of min 7, max 16) $9,949

Workshop description:

  • The workshop is intended for teams within the organization who would like to conduct a Rapid Deployment Event or Kaizen Event to review existing business process or machine performance or operations, brainstorm for breakthrough changes or improvements, develop a future-state process model or roadmap and jointly develop a detailed action plan with implementation guideline. The workshop is extended over the required period of time to ensure prior preparation is complete and all information is at hand prior to conducting the event. The workshop is intended to set a trend of continuous improvement of a process, which takes place through small, incremental process improvements, repeated over 18 to 24 months’ time interval.
  • We issue Certificates of completion of the course.

Workshop objective:

  • The course objective is to utilize the power of process experts and everyone involved directly with the process to review current-state process, identify opportunities for improvement, brainstorm future-state process model and develop a detailed action plan with consensus around implementation challenges, solutions to address these challenges and timelines. The focus is on one area of improvement. The following is included:
    • Discovery Meeting, Kaizen Project Charter Development
    • Data Collection and Analysis
    • Pre-event activities (survey, interviews, data collection and analysis report, strategic direction)
    • Kaizen Event / Workshop and Report Out that includes:
      • Current-state and ideal-state process mapping
      • Future-state process mapping
      • Action plan with RASCI matrix
    • Change Implementation and Coaching
