Course description:

• The course is intended for individuals within the organization who would like to perform a quick or detailed process capability study on one or more business or machine (operational) processes. These processes are typically important for the operations and business and can have a big impact on customer satisfaction level if not stable and capable. Organizations design processes with an expectation that they will perform within the specification limits and within the control limits all of the time. The course covers all aspects of Process Capability Studies and will introduce you to the application of a particular process capability study based on the process you have selected and data available. Course objective:

• The course objective is to introduce you to Process Capability Analysis, and also thoroughly look at your capability data, assessing the need for process capability study, identifying the right capability analysis tool, selecting processes for process capability analysis under your guidance and performing analysis to determine the level of performance of the process. The course also includes trend analysis, stability check, introduction to Statistical Process Control techniques, control chart selection, interpretation. The course is designed to help you identify out-of-control patterns, detect unusual behaviour of the process and recommend the best combination of actions that will help your organization maintain the process in a state of control (stable process) and consistently produce output that will meet or exceed organization’s and customer’s needs and satisfaction level (capable process).
