We have an immediate need/opening Salesforce Application Trainer & Developer for a fulltime in British Columbia and Nova Scotia. Join our team in a position that lets you grow with us!

Job Summary: Must have previous Salesforce Application Developer and training (Trainer) experience or Do Not Apply!

Main Duties will include:

• Train individuals and corporate customers on Salesforce Administration and Development Tasks.
• Teach students using a systematic plan of lectures, demonstrations, discussion groups, laboratory work, seminars, case studies, field assignments and independent or group projects
• Develop Salesforce Application curriculum and prepare teaching materials and outlines for courses
• Prepare, administer and mark tests and papers to evaluate students’ progress
• Advise students on program curricula and career decisions
• Provide individualized tutorial or remedial instruction to students who require it
• Supervise independent or group projects, field placements, laboratory work or hands-on training
• Provide consultation services to students, business and other organizations
• May serve on committees concerned with matters such as budgets, curriculum revision, and course and program requirements.
• Develop and support. You will build custom applications in Force.com using classic Salesforce tools such a Visual Force as well as modern web technologies such as Lighting and AngularJS. You will participate in Salesforce OAuth or Bulk API.
• An expansive range of technical skills. You have proven experience with:
  • Lightning Components or Visual Force.
  • Advanced UI development using or JavaScript tools such as AngularJS.
  • Developing custom objects and workflow business rules including Process Builder.
  • SQL and SOQL queries.
  • Apex test classes and scripts.

• A commitment to the agile methodology. You have experience working in a SCRUM environment.
• Communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Configure and customize Salesforce platform based upon business and functional requirements
• Design object model and code structure and develop high quality, reusable and maintainable code
• Integrate new systems, install 3rd party applications, and upgrading the Salesforce environment through Rest and Soap APIs
• Provide technical assistance and coaching to other developers, support teams, management, etc.
• Create custom objects, validation rules, workflows, process automation, reporting, and dashboards
• Configure page layouts designed for different business profiles and requirements that are accessible for desktop, tablet, and mobile interfaces
• Working knowledge of Lightning framework
• Team player, self-starter, and motivated with the ability to multi-task while meeting deadlines
• Strong communication skills to interface with various technology teams and business stakeholders.
• Strong ability to translate functional requirements into technical specifications

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science is must.
• Management or Administration Studies is a plus.
• 4 years+ experience in trainer for Salesforce administration, development and Various Salesforce app exchange installation.
• Experience in instructional design; and independently creating high complexity courses.
• Strong PowerPoint skills
• Experience developing technology training for Retail and Financial Services sector an asset
• Experience in e-Classroom training an asset

Required:

Certificates: Salesforce Certifications (Admin-201, Dev-401)

Assets:

• Project Management and Training Certification.
• Any Salesforce (Sales, Service Cloud) technical certifications.
